In the late 80s, I was a Guardian Angel.
So we had this event that we attended for racial unity (yeah, it was a long time ago).
What we did for the event, was that the white guys would paint half their face black with make up, and the black guys would paint half their face white with make up.
So when we started doing this before the event, the Puerto Rican guys were looking around, and didn't know what color they should choose.
Turns out they chose wrong.
Since they don't consider themselves white, they decided to use the white make up.
The black make up we had could be removed by just wiping it off with a paper towel, but the white make up that the black and Puerto Rican guys used was some kind of super thick, oil based stuff that was almost impossible to remove!
They must have been walking around half white for a week!
